School Site Council

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL

Develop, approve, and monitor the School Plan for Improvement.
Attend meetings throughout the school year.
Allocate funds for School Improvement Program, ELA/English Language Learner, Title I, etc.
Annually review the School Plan, establish a new budget, and modify it to reflect changing needs.
Recommend approval of the plan by the District Governing Board.
Meet on a regular basis.
Monitor and evaluate programs.
Participate in the Coordinated Compliance Review process.
Develop a system for ongoing communication with school and district groups.
