School Site Council
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL
- Develop, approve, and monitor the School Plan for Improvement.
- Attend meetings throughout the school year.
- Allocate funds for School Improvement Program, ELA/English Language Learner, Title I, etc.
- Annually review the School Plan, establish a new budget, and modify it to reflect changing needs.
- Recommend approval of the plan by the District Governing Board.
- Meet on a regular basis.
- Monitor and evaluate programs.
- Participate in the Coordinated Compliance Review process.
- Develop a system for ongoing communication with school and district groups.
